A few years ago, Rodolfo ‘Opi’ Sadler snagged the Malbec Trophy at Argentina’s national show. Then came international acclaim — the Argentinean Red Trophy at the 2009 Decanter World Wine Awards. Here’s the next chapter of his sumptuous Malbec.

For any season and any reason. This is a fantastic Malbec!
I always like Opi Sadler's malbecs, and this is no exception. This one is delightfully dark and somewhat richer than previous bottlings. It has a bit more tannins as well, which makes it great with food. If you like very inky Malbecs, almost like those from Cahors in France, you will be especially pleased with this.
Robust flavor of blackberry and plum with a creamy finish. I paired this one with a charcuterie board of spicy chorizo, Italian sopressata and finocchiona. I will pair my next bottle with a juicy vacío and Bife de Chorizo steaks...
This wine starts with one of the most pleasant aroma's in the glass I have ever had from a glass of wine. And that blackberry aroma follows through when drinking, an aroma that can be smelled as well as tasted. Not over powering though, seems just right. Its a light wine with just little body to it. A wine with alot of character.
This one belongs in the wine club. I have tried 3 wines from my first wine club shipment and this one is the my favorite thus far.
